Wow, another day, another blog!! must be ill, or am I just remembering to take my tablets???
Well, its the start of half term for Hannah, hopefully have some nice activities planned for Hannah. Sunday, involves a Thinking Day celebration for the Brownies at St Mark's church in Shiremoor, Pam announced tonight that she may not be going so it looks like I will be doing it on my own which in one way is a bit of a let down, on the other I'm a bit scared as I'm not 100% sure what I'm supposed to do. I'm at work on Monday so that should be fun (for me, not Hannah!). Tuesday we're meeting up with Tanya, Sam, Tom, Helen and Kira for a trip to Kiki's Cabin then lunch at Helen's. On Wednesday, Aunty Pat has volunteered to take us out for the day. Thursday, Hannah has a birthday party to go to in the afternoon, Friday morning is a family trip to the dentist and then Messy Church!
For some reason I felt the need to volunteer to help out at Messy Church ( well, OK I was asked to help) At the meeting tonight I have managed to volunteer myself for Origami frog making!!! I feel it would help if I knew how to make the afore-mentioned frogs so I have been doing some research on the internet and there are at least 3 different ways of making a frog from paper!! none of which look particularly easy and one even involves blowing into it's recently folded bottom to inflate it!! So it should be interesting. Never mind Moses having to contend with a plague of frogs, by the time this week finishes I'm sure my house will look like its been infested with frogs! hopefully by Friday ( a week today) I should know how to make them! Wish me luck - I'll have to post some photo's of my 'success'!
Once you know how, you will have to show me - it made me laugh, blowing into a frog's bottom!!
